Information: Leaders
Without Leaders there would not be Jamborees! Leaders perform many tasks at Jamborees, split into two distinct categories
- Troop Leaders
- Service Leaders
The following document will be mailed to all Leaders in the Scout Section in the coming weeks as a "guide" to important Jamboree information
Troop Leaders are assigned to a Jamboree Troop,
comprised of approximately 36 Scouts and 6 Leaders (1 of which
is a Service Leader). Troop Leaders are responsible for the day
to day running of their troop and the supervision of Youth
Members in it.
Service Leaders fill important support positions at the Jamboree. This may be as Leaders working on activities, in administration, sites & services or one of many other roles.
Without Service Leaders - a Jamboree would not be able to function.
